We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your email, your Discord and TradingView identifiers for access provisioning, and your app preferences. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. We do not sell your data, we do not run ad trackers, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Sam Signals Trades LLC ("the Company," "we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use samcomplete.com, the SAM Terminal application at app.samcomplete.com, our Discord community, and related services (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
What We Collect
- Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Access identifiers: your Discord user ID and username (to grant community roles and deliver credentials), and your TradingView username if your plan includes indicator access.
- Subscription data: your plan tier, subscription status, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. These are references only — payment card details live exclusively with Stripe.
- App preferences: settings you choose in the Terminal (visible channels, notification selections, display density, onboarding state).
- Push subscription endpoints: if you enable alerts, the browser-generated endpoint needed to deliver notifications to your device.
- Technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) kept for security and reliability.
We do not collect brokerage credentials, trading account data, or position information. The Service never connects to your brokerage.
How We Use It
- To provision and maintain your access — creating your Terminal account, granting Discord roles, and enabling TradingView indicators for your tier;
- To deliver the product — the live feed, push notifications you opt into, and your synced preferences across devices;
- To bill you correctly through Stripe and keep your access in sync with your subscription;
- To provide support when you contact us;
- To protect the Service — monitoring for abuse, account sharing, and technical failures.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is entered on and stored by Stripe, never on our servers. We receive only the references needed to manage your subscription (customer ID, subscription status, plan). Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
The Service is built on a small set of processors, each receiving only what its role requires:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing portal;
- Discord — community access, role management, and delivery of credentials and alerts you request;
- TradingView — indicator access granted to the username you provide;
- Rewardful — affiliate referral tracking (a referral cookie when you arrive through an affiliate link);
- DigitalOcean — server hosting.
Market data providers used to generate signals receive no personal information about you.
Cookies & Local Storage
The Terminal stores a session token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. If you arrive through an affiliate link, Rewardful sets a referral cookie so the referrer is credited. That is the extent of it — no advertising trackers, no analytics resale, no fingerprinting.
Push Notifications
Alerts are strictly opt-in. When you enable them, your browser generates a delivery endpoint we store to send you the notifications you selected. Disable them anytime from the 🔔 menu in the app or your device settings, and the endpoint stops being used; stale endpoints are pruned automatically.
Retention & Deletion
We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, billing, and dispute purposes. Encrypted backups are kept on a short rotation. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see Your Choices); we will honor it except where retention is required by law or for legitimate billing records.
Your Choices
- Access or correct your information by emailing us;
- Change your password anytime from Account in the app;
- Cancel anytime from Account → Manage billing;
- Delete your account and personal information by emailing support@samcomplete.com from your account email.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights; we honor valid requests regardless of jurisdiction.
Security
Passwords are hashed with modern algorithms (Argon2), traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), access to production systems is restricted, and we collect little precisely so there is little to lose. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
Age Requirement
The Service is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted here with an updated date. Material changes will be announced through the Service.
